Five Possible ‘Frozen 2’ plot lines
Adaptation of Shakespeare’s Taming of the Shrew – Not only can Anna not marry someone she just met, but under Arendelle law, she cannot marry until after her older sister does. Hijinks and songs ensue as the lovers lament and a mysterious, overly confident bachelor shows up to woo Elsa. Sharp eyed movie goers will recognize the bachelor as Gaston from Beauty and the Beast.
Frozen 2: Hans Strikes Back – in a crossover between mega franchises, Disney turns Hans into the next sith lord, who forces his way back to Arendelle to take his revenge on the two sisters. The sisters will end up losing, people of Arendelle will wonder what will happen, and the trolls reveal that Elsa is not the country’s only hope – there is another.
Frozen 2: Attack of the Trolls – In an acknowledgement that sequels are rarely as good as the original… the plot would be Elsa vs. the Trolls. With mom and dad gone, Elsa blames the trolls for her isolated youth. Meanwhile, the trolls decide to use their magic to gain rule over the country that is encroaching on their territory.
Frozen 2: Age of Pinocchio – The Blue Fairy has turned Pinocchio into a wooden boy again because of his bad behavior. Pinocchio arrives in Arendelle and upon seeing Elsa, who looks like the Blue Fairy, flies into a rage and attempts to take over the kingdom. Eerie “I’ve Got No Strings” song gets played out as Elsa and Pinocchio battle it out. All’s well that ends well, however, as people learn that Pinocchio isn’t evil just misunderstood, and Elsa turns him into Olaf’s brother, who also likes warm hugs.
Frozen 2: The Winter Soldier – The Duke of Weselton returns with upgrades. He may have shunned magic before, but his exile and his country’s downfall turned him to the dark side. The movie ends with the possibility that the Duke could come to power in Arendelle to shield it from the future loss of its current heroine though that job could just as easily fall to Anna, who has somehow learned to fly.
